IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey PSP

Has anyone picked this game up for PSP yet, and if so how does it rate against say, ''Ace Combat X'' in terms of a fun flight combat game? I've seen lots of game video from 360 and PS3 versions but as usual the PSP version is getting very little in the way of push.IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey PSP
Been wondering this myself. Talk about releasing under the radar. Didn't even know it existed until like a week ago. It's going to take a damn fine game to top Ace Combat X though..IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey PSP
Indeed. The last WWII flight game released in the States got lacking reviews, hope this is better. Upon further review of what little there is out there this game is released on the 10th so I doubt anyone has played it yet... and of course there won't be a score up for it by any legit review sites forever if at all...:?
Ba-bump-bump.Anyone got it yet?
No reviews yet... C'mon... this is rediculous. No metacritic score, no nothin'... :?
Mmmm I got the demo for PS3 I dont know if that helps any, the demo seems ok but not my kind of game so it is not something I would get for my PSP but maybe a man like you who loves Real Fishing will also love IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey ;)Edit: If the PS3 review has any interest.
:lol:Yeah... maybe! The thing is, it's a total blackout on the game. I hate when a title like this comes out and everyone, 'net-wide, ignores it in favor of the console version or even just completely ignores it for no reason at all. I'm finding this a lot with the PSP, is that no one seems to care at all about selling us anything, or protecting us from bad purchases, unless it's a staple like ''Madden'' or ''Final Fantasy'' spin-offs or other high-traffic franchises.I've been hoping for something like ''Heroes of the Pacific'' for my (North American) PSP for-EVER... I have ''Ace Combat X'', but my heart is WWII warbirds and the true man %26 machine aspect of pre-jet air combat. It's not that I don't like sending a jet screaming through cities shredding with a missle from time to time, but limited ammo and no heat-seeking tech, stall speeds being a factor... I really want a game likethat which is portable and I was denied with ''Air Conflicts'' earlier in the year. ''Sturmovik'' has some past history with flight games so I hope it (eventually) gets good reviews for the PSP version. And you know ''Reel Fishing'' rocks!!! :D
You are right the PSP allways seems to get ignored when it comes to multi-platform games and it bugs the S*** out of me. Sure the games get rated sooner or later but it is allways the home consoles that gets the attention. Honestly I ask why ! havent the PSP sold more than the PS3 and 360 combined ? Sigh, sometimes it is hard being a hardcore PSP fanboy but yet I love it :)
i am interested in all types of flight sims/air combat games, and was highly dissapointed with air conflict. the release date according to IGN is september 15th for this game. i follow them cuz they are usually right. here is a page i use to check up on new releases. i cross-reference it with gamespot's new releases as well for the psp. i went to gamestop store as well yesterday and they didn't have it in their shelves. if it's a port from ps3/xbox360 versions, i wouldn't have high hopes for it, since there is a high likelyhood of the developers giving the SHAFT to the psp game.http://psp.ign.com/index/release.html

I have read more than a few views stating the above, that ''Air Conflicts'' was a dissapointment by-and-large, so I'm still patiently waiting for ANY sort of reviews on this title...... something tells me that might be a while in comng.:?
