I played the PS3 versions of Dirt 2 and NFS Shift and it was great. But the PSP versions are so arcade-ish, boring, and are watered down versions of their PS3 counterparts. Also, there's that new GT game for PSP. No career? No car tuning? Fail. How come the PSP rarely gets good racing ...
Wipeout Pure and Wipeout Pulse. It doesn't get any better than that. And both work perfectly fine on the PSP, are rich with content, superb graphics and gameplay, etc.How come the PSP rarely gets good racing ...
I guess you haven't played Burnout Legends.

or Midnight Club : LA Remix.
Long loading times is the ONLY letdown. But this makes up for the superb and smooth graphics.
What about the Ridge Racer games? Even now they set the standard for graphics and gameplay for a PSP racer!

I guess ur right. but GTPSP shouldn't be as bad as they make it out to be.
yea i know the game and graphic is awesome but very slow loading ;(
I just got home with my brand new copy of Motorstorm Arctic Edge. Gonna go for a shower then get my Motorstorm on. It looks like it's going to be really good. I love the PS3 Motorstorm games so I know I'll like Arctic Edge.
I have two Burnout games, Flatout Headon, Twisted Metal Headon, and two Wipeout games. There are many more PSP racing games too (even more than the DS). There definately is no shortage of great racing games for the PSP. Just avoid the Need for Speed games. There's two more great racers coming out within the next two weeks. Some people already have Motorstorm.
I think Burnout Legends is Great for PSP Car Racing Game. It has nice events and challenges, loading time is also fine.
EA Sports ''NASCAR'' (2006) is probably my favorite version of the game (including console itterations). ''WipeOut Pure'' is awesome and when I finally get all golds in that, I have ''WipeOut Pulse'' to purchase... what are you talking about? There are plenty of good racing games.:)
Ive got the PSP version of Need for Speed'' Pro Street, and its awesome..Havn't played the PS2 or 360 versions, so I can't compare em..
Wipeout Pulse is definitely the best racing game on PSP! :) I don't know how about MotorStorm AE - didn't play it..

There are some good ones. Sega Rally Revo, Ridge Racer, and the Wipeout games are great! Also, PSP is getting Motorstorm and love it or hate it, GT is coming.
What? Racing games are the best genre that has been translated to the PSP. Burnout, Ridge Racer %26 Wipeout make up the most polished for the platform. I have also enjoyed the 1st NFS for the PSP.
