Controls doesn't work

hi guys!



for some reason, my fat psp just acted like this in the while shooting it out with the SWATs of vice city. :-) newbie here.. :-(



1. when i press home, ''do you want to quit the game?''. arrow keys doesn't work. including the ''other'' controls. so i can't choose ''yes'' or ''no''. i have to press home again to get into the game. the odd thing is while being asked to ''quit the game?'' and i press ''O'' - back. it's actually firing! and ''X'' plus the analog key, the guy actually ''runs''. behind the offer to quit, the buttons work regularly.



2. inside the game the (triangle) enter vehicle button, just takes one step and won't enter a vehicle.



3. the right button(?) on top doesn't aim.



i don't use cheats (don't know how to?). i reset to factory settings. updated the firmware to 5.51. removed the batter, put back in.



still no joy.



any ideas what went wrong?

Sounds like you've got the buttons re-mapped for the game in question. This happens to me playing the PS1 Classic DL of the original ''Medal of Honor'' from PSN, and it's because in order to get the game to play more like other FPS on the system I have had to extensively re-map the button layout. So now when I want to ''hit the X button'' I have to accept a command by hitting the right shoulder button, which I have re-mapped so that the X 'Fire' button is now the right shoulder button.Dig?Essentially you need to go through the button map and shift things back to default or set the buttons to your pref. - And write 'em down as you do it.Hope this helps a bit.
