American PSP in Europe

Hello,



I know a similar question has been asked here before, but mine's a little different.



I'm in Europe now, and I have an American PSP. I have an adapter, but it's not working (not sure why not). I understand the wattage differences and such, and realize that the charger is multi-region.



My only problem is, my PSP battery is flat dead, and the adapter is failing. So, could I use my friend's PSP charger, which is European, on my American PSP?

I used an american charger on a european PSP. I think it should work, but im not completely sure.American PSP in Europe
