Monster Hunter Freedom Unite **HELP ME**

Hey guys, just got MHFU... Just lookin for a few pointers... The three main questions im lookin for answers are, How do u equip ur weapon with an element? What is the best armour to fight a khezu with? and ive done all the available farm renovations... how do i unlock more? (mining spot especially)Monster Hunter Freedom Unite **HELP ME**
1. Progress further into the game. You'll unlock weapon upgrade paths with elemental weapons. You'll also be able to craft them.2. For a Khezu it doesn't really matter. Just learn to dodge his attacks. Most early game armors are very similar, but something with a bit of thunder resistance might help.3. Again, progress through the game more. New farm renovations will unlock in the menu.Monster Hunter Freedom Unite **HELP ME**
thanks, i appreciate it...
k im back again, where do i find ioprey?
Try looking around the Jungle and Swamp zones.
Yah, your gonna want to check the swamp zone.
kk thnx guys... oh, can i get rubbery hide from the khezu?
I am pretty sure you can't. You get that from the Gypceros.
You get flabby hide from a Khezu, Rubbery hide from a Gypceros. This is of course if your talking about the low rank elder quests, as you get some odd stuff from the G-rank ones.
are elder quests the quests you do for the village chief?
Yes. They are designed for single players, and thus are a bit easier than Guild quests.
nice sig! nyhu, is it true that both the gyceperos and yian kut ku are easy to kill with a katana gospel?

Is guild quest also soloable?
nice sig! nyhu, is it true that both the gyceperos and yian kut ku are easy to kill with a katana gospel?
Iron Katana ''Gospel'' is a great weapon for beginners, but don't fall into the trap of only using Long Swords, or you'll make some people very mad when you do multiplayer - they can hit other people! Make sure you branch out; there are lots of other weapon types which can be upgraded just as well as Iron Katana ''Gospel''. Make sure you practice with Sword and Shield, Double Swords, Lances, and Heavy Bowguns too. Those are just my personal recommendations, though.

is it true that you can dodge the monster with the flash thing on its head? what i mean is, can you dodge his flash by rolling?
I think its possible with the moments of invincibility.
You can break Gypceros' flash by attacking the head, but be careful; you'd better know his other moves well and be ready to dodge right. Also, you'll want a weapon that can reach it. Hammer? Yeah. Greatsword? Yeah. Sword and Shield? Maybe; try the jump slice.

It's not so hard getting out of stun, though. Twirl the analog stick and mash X. If hitting the head is proving difficult, you may want to just work on his legs and hindquarters and struggle your way out of the stuns.
is it true that you can dodge the monster with the flash thing on its head? what i mean is, can you dodge his flash by rolling?
no you cant by rolling, but you can by running away and jumping. (to be honest, that move saved my butt milions of times)
what do you mean running and jumping? i cant jump... you can only roll...
i mean that move where you ''jump for your life'' - hold R and run away from the monster (automaticly causes you to do the ''scared run'') and just press X. you throw yourself in hope to survive. btw you can do this move to avoid any possible attack, but if the monster comboes you, youre screwed :P
