Wow, so my PSP was left on for a few day ...

Seriously, what kind of idiot designsed the power switch? Sometimes it goes to standby even when I hold it for a few seconds, and there's no sure way to tell without turning it on again, then when I turn it off who knows what happened THAT time? Anyway I'm just ranting. Is there any damage to my game now? (It was on the menu screen for 2-3 days)Wow, so my PSP was left on for a few day ...
how can it be on for 3-4 days the battery dies in around 6 housWow, so my PSP was left on for a few day ...
how can it be on for 3-4 days the battery dies in around 6 hous
Hehe, maybe it was plugged in at the time. :)An no TC, you should be fine. I don't think the screen burns in (lcd) and I'm sure they play tested the psp for more hours on at a time during R%D than you will.

lol that's what I was thinking.
When I had my PSP, I never fully turned it off. I always put it in stand-by... It won't harm it.
putting it in standby all the time consumes power

how can it be on for 3-4 days the battery dies in around 6 hous
lol that's what I was thinking.
Yeah it dies in 6 hours IF YOU PLAY. I left mine (fully charged Fryday) on stanby over the weekend and I played a hour or so next monday. The display is the biggest power consumer and putting the PSP on stanby cuts off power to all input and output, not ot mention the system itself is barely working.
Ehm doesent putting the PSP in standby simply write its current state to its flash memory (similar as the computer bios) meaning there is no practically no powerloss? i basicly only touch my psp on workdays and its uncommon to urn on my psp on mondays and not be in the middle of a game.
You should be fine- I always just left my PSP in stand-by mode instead of fully turning it off without knowing it for the first several months I had it.Wasn't a big problem at all.
I always turn the power off when i'm not playing. Better safe than sorry.
I think you're safe. I once left my PSP on while using it in bed (it's plugged into the charger) and when I woke up the PSP was quite hot. After I turned it off for 30 min it went cool.
Nah you're ok. I used to do that all the time when I first got my PSP.
you PSP is totally fine considering to mine
You are fine. I pretty much never turn my psp off, always just use standby. That way it saves where I am if I am watching a video or saves me having to boot up a game.
hahha once for my psp alarm clock i left it on but luckly i left it in the charger so i woke by my alarm and it was still fully charged
Kind of odd thread. I turn my system to stand-by all of the time. Never even think of turning it off. What's the harm in that? And about your PSPs getting hot, really? I've left my psp on plugged in for hours and no heat whatsoever. Is everyone just picky or am I weird for using the PSP's most useful function?
Stand-by is fine to leave my psp in.
Mine is still alive so...
