Should I try it?

I haven't played my PSP in about 2-3 months because my disc lens can barely read UMD's. My main question is that I really want Soul Calibur BD but I'm afraid I'll just be wasting my money because it probably won't work. I haven't played my PSP in a while though so I'm thinking my disc lens is okay because of the long rest it had. Should I buy Soul Calibur and see what happens? (Sorry for the bouncyness of my question)Should I try it?
maybe u should just wait for it to be released in the psn storeShould I try it?

Great idea, isn't Sony going to do that for all PSP games starting October 1?

yeah i think so

but if u can't wait, u should try the umd.

But i'd wait for the psn. Are you sure it's the psp and not the Umd having the problems?
Well I don't think time repairs lens issues, but if you really want to buy the UMD of Soul Calibur I'd suggest trying your current games out on the PSP again to see if it's working properly or not.Otherwise yeahh, It'll definately be avaliable for download sooner or later.
I tried all of my used games and none of them worked. Sometimes the UMD will show up but when I press X it never works.
First time you should do is fix your PSP lens first. Make sure it work with no problem.
Yea, if your other UMD's dont work, then chances are that the Soul Caliber UMD wont work either. You can wait for the game to released on PSN and download it from there, or you can buy a used Soul Caliber UMD from Gamestop and try it out. If it doesnt work, you can just return it. I think Gamestop gives you a week to return used games for a full refund. If, however, you determine that, in fact your PSP lens IS the problem, i probably wouldnt spend the money to have it repaired. I mean, considering PSP games are going to be digital downloads offered over the PSN, it doesnt make sense to fix something that your not even going to need anymore. I dont know, just my opinion.
