Now I do a bit of my game shopping online, I found one website that will allow me to buy the PSP 3000 normal black system package new for $160. Now I found another thing on the website, the Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters Package. It comes with the PSP 3000 system, Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters game, and National Treasure movie, also comes with a free card with a code to get the game Echrome. It is selling for $200, so is it better to get the package rather then the system alone? Is the PSP 3000 worth buying? Or wait and buy the next PSP system.I would also like to know some of the information about the PSP 3000, like maybe its internal memory and some other features that were updated from the last version. Thank You :)PSP 3000, Better deal getting package ra ...
Well, I'm getting the Go because I like that I don't need UMD's to play and that it's much smaller.
If you like those aspects and don't mind spending $50 more, then I say get the Go. If you are looking to save a bit of money, you can get the 3000. I recommend only buying the bundle packages (like the Ratchet and Clank package) if you like the game it comes with, or else you're just paying for stuff you don't need. The bundles do come with a memory stick, though, which is nice, but it's cheaper to buy just the PSP system + memory stick than the bundle (unless, like I said, you want the game included in the bundle).PSP 3000, Better deal getting package ra ...
I forgot to mention the 3000 has no internal memory, so if you want to store a lot on the system you need to buy a huge memory card which will cost you another $80 - $100.
Personally, with the Go, you get 16GB built in + the potential to add another 16. Your call.

dude check ebay especially for the psp bundles. they sell them less than $200. ive been checking ebay these past few weeks for good deals on psp. and ive seen really good ones, cheaper and some have free shipping. dont rush and take your time.
also theres a bundle that comes with a 4gb memory stick. i think it was the rockband bundle. that one is better imo.

I know exactly what im going to do with mine so a psp go is the best system for my lifestyle.
The PSP 3000 has these benefits:
Cost less.
Can buy retail and pre-owned UMD type games; and sell, loan, or give away your UMD type games.
Can download and play PSN sold games, just like the Go can.
Can change out the battery without any tools or much hassle; which can allow you to carry around extras for extended play.
Has a slightly bigger screen.
4GB Duo Memory cards are around $25 (gotta add the shipping...u'know).
Although, generics fair better....in price
Benefits of the Go:
Has Bluetooth support.
Compact design.
Internal, 16GB of memory. As for bundle or Core.... you already know the difference between the two. Only you can decide which you rather buy. Neither are a rip-off, if that's what you are wondering. Main purpose of the Bundle is that you're ready to go, right out of the box. Where as with a core, you have more shopping to do. Mainly that of a memory card, and some games. UMD Movies are pretty much a trash bonus. In that... being that the PSP is the only device you have that can play those movies; you'd likely never buy one, unless someone gave them to you for free... or you found them next to free.

What is the benifits of blutooth?
The Go design sucks. Especially for those with big hands
Internal memory is nice but PSP 3000 + 16 GB MS will cost less than a Go
I lost my PSP 2000 during the summer i was thinking about buying a PSP 3000. Has sony fixed the problems that of the 3000 or should i just buy a used PSP 2000 for less?

I should know because I bought it to replace my 1gb, so I could buy lots of PSN stuff. It's in my house in my dresser as we speak, unopened because I don't have any money to buy PSN stuff. But the second I get $10, Final Fantasy VII.Also I think that if you want the game and movie, and whatever else it comes with do it. Ether that or if the game is more than $20 you could sell the game, and whatever else on ebay or something.I don't want to get a Go because I'd have to sell my 3000 for a third of what I bought it for to get a Go. Also what will happen to my UMDs? So I'll pass and wait for PSP 2.

I could go on about the subtle already-known advantages and the possible implementations, but I won't. ;)I personally would say the bundle is a better purchase, since it includes 2 good games, a memory stick, and an acceptable movie. Then again it depends if the contents appeal to you, there's other bundles too. I myself, if given the choice, would go with the Rockband Unplugged Bundle.

the topic is about like u said is 3000 better than Go. One comment compared both systems which implies we're on topic.
As for the changes from the 2000 to the 3000. They added a built in Mic to the 3000, and they changed the LCD screen. Don't remember the other changes. Maybe the buttons stick out more or less... or a button was renamed, I don't remember. Old screen had a ghosting effect and didn't have very good color separation was also a bit dark and near impossible to use outdoors. New screen has better color separation, and is brighter. But ghosting of fast moving objects, was replaced with line dithering. It's likely you won't notice it, though. I don't know what the GO screen looks like, but I've read that, likely, it has a clearer screen than the 3000, because the pixel resolution is said to be the same and it has a smaller screen.
These posts have all been helpfull. I think I'm going to go with the PSP 3000, I found a very good deal, for $200 the system, a game, and 16GB memory card.
