God of war types of games that the DS just doesnt do well. I havea DS and soon to have a PSP go. Did you have a playstation 2? Just imagine having a portable PS2...thats the type of games you get on a PSP. GoW, Grand theft auto, Gran turismo, Marvel Ultimate alliance, Final Fantasy Crisis Core, Final fantasy Dissidia, Assasins creed PSP...etc.They are more mature and keep you hooked longer types of games. A lot of the games I have on DS are short lived played in spurts type of games...Besides things like Crono Trigger ;)I say yes...PSP all the way.Possible PSP purchase, help please?
Your prioritizing the 3000 over the Go is a smart option, bigger screen, UMDs, and cheaper. To me, the Go is just fancy and good looking (which is good, but it has it's downsides).Anyways, the PSP has the best portable shooters. If you're looking for good ones, then try ''Resistance Retribution'' and''Socom: Fireteam Bravo 1-3'', those are pretty much the best ones.Resistance uses square, circle, x, and triangle to aim your gun and R to shoot. And Socom is a little bit more confusing, it might take a little getting used to, but it's worth it. They also have excellent online play.If you are looking for more excellent games, look at ''Final Fantasy: Crisis Core'', ''God of War: Chains of Olympus'', ''Tekken: Dark Resurrection'', ''Daxter'', ''Burnout Legends'', ''Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories'', and ''Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories'' are just a few to name. Just imagine Grand Theft Auto... anywhere, how awesome is that? It's a full game, with real graphics, not like the DS.If you have any questions just let me know, also check out my thread ''The Good Ones Are Finally Coming Out'' for anticipating titles in the future.Possible PSP purchase, help please?
How are fighting games on the PSP? I know there's Tekken but is there a good variety of fighting games? Also how exactly does the PSP work with the PSN, I don't have a PS3 so I don't know how the PSN works. There are games which can be downloaded right? Are they all stored on the memory card? Whats the quality of games from the PSN?
Tekken: Dark Resurrection is absolutely amazing, better than Tekken 5 on the PS2, honestly. The graphics are absolutely amazing. You can read my game review for it if you like, but I am not too aware of any other fighting game that compares to Tekken that is on the PSP besides maybe Street Fighter which I have heard good things about. To operate on the PSN, you quickly create an account and you can download full UMD quality games, Demos, PS1 Games, Movies, etc. They're all stored on the memory card. You can also buy a 20$ or 50$ PSN Card from Target, Bestbuy, or Gamestop for direct use.

I would suggest to get PSP 3000.... you can play games from playstation 1 and some titles from PS2.
And the games are not short live to play..
Im currently playing FF Dissidia and its great!
If your a big fan of final fantasy this is your bestfriend!
Plus Rock Band Unpugged is WAY better than any of the DS's Guitar Hero On Tour games.
