yeah i tried a demo of that dissidia and that was pretty good. i enjoyed it...it(the whole game) kinda felt like the final fight at the end of advent children between cloud and sephiroth, thats actually what made it soo cool. is the whole game designed like that? almost like the old school dragonball z games.
ill definatly get the megaman game and im a big fan of phantasy star....good choices man, thanks a lot! ill check them out at my local GS or better yet i have a local mom and pop store that sells used games, ill see if i can get them cheaper there first after i look up the prices online from GS
Definatly try out Monster Hunter Freedom Unite! especially if your into that whole kind of thing, also FF Crisis Core are good choices =]

crisis core....hmm, does it play like the traditional turned based rpgs? i do like those......dissidia kinda suprised me but it was still good though!

God of War: Chains of Olympus and Resistance: Retribution. Both are really, really great games.

Glad your enjoying it...but I would have waited a little bit longer for the PSP Go.

If you like Megaman consider getting Maverick Hunter X. You can probably find it for like $10 now and I like it a lot.
Congrats. I'm playing Crinsom Gem Saga, and it's suprisingly good. A well made old school turn based RPG.

yeah i wasnt really interested in the Go for a few reasons. its got a smaller screen and the price is so much more than what i paid for my psp (120bucks) but still im liking the version i got. its slim and like i said i dont need a mic or the glare reduction.
wow thanks for all the support guys! i didnt think my post would get this many replies, im taking all your recommendations into consideration especially the megaman and phantasy star games! ill definatly check out the rest though too, nothing will be overlooked. again thanks a lot for all the love guys!
^ its not that much smaller but the Go is still not justified, and i dont use the mic but glare reduction is really useful
From the many PSP games I have played, I recommend the following:Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness
Disgaea: Dark Hero Days
Tales of Eternia
Jeanne d'Arc
Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions
Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles (only for Symphony of the Night)
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
Silent Hill: Origins
Crimson Gem Saga
Star Ocean: First Departure
Star Ocean: Second Evolution
Some good games you could try include:Action / Adventure - Daxter, God of War: Chains of Olympus, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Op, Silent Hill: OriginsRacing - Burnout LegendsRPG - Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, Tales of Eternia, Star Ocean: First Departure, Star Ocean: Second Evolution, Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth

It took years, but finally great shooters have/are appearing on the PSP. I'm currently working my way through some older titles (SHO, GOW, Syphon Filter, etc.) and having a blast. I dumped my fat PSP which was collecting dust anyways and bought the PSP 3000, a great handheld, no scanline issues either.
Good to hear that mate!
