PSP Go price cut before Oct 1st?

http://www.pspworld.com/sony-psp/accessories/source-psp-go-could-get-price-cut-before-release-010771.phpGranted it is almost 100% not going to happen but think about it. It would certainly really help their cause though as far as keeping up with the competition.PSP Go price cut before Oct 1st?
If it dropped to 199USD then I'd be a bit more tempted by it. Still wouldn't get it, but it would make me want it ever so slightly more.PSP Go price cut before Oct 1st?
Not that I'm getting one having just got a 3000 but I was in my local Game store here in the UK and they are selling for a ?0 deposit plus a balance of ?24.99 on the day!!
i just got a psp 3000 dissidia bundle with monster hunter Freedom U a week ago for $240 so theres no way i'd buy the psp go seeing as how i got screen protectors and a carry on case with that

I would love a price cut, but I don't think it will happen. Atleast give us something free if you want to charge that high of a price. Maybe early adopters get 50% off of games for a week, or how about a free voucher for Motorstorm? I think Sony will have to sweeten the pot a little.
it was 200 I would buy one. i have the star wars psp,but its a little beat up with some dead pixels. I also like the feel of DD. Oh sony why did you make the dumb mistake of making it 250.
That would be great, but it seems completely unlikely.Though really Sony should drop the price. They can't expect people to really appreciate the current ''premium'' price.
It would be a smart thing if they did lower the price. Lets see if they change their minds by October 1.
No way on God's green earth that's going to happen, friend. This is Sony - The company who said they didn't want vib-feedback on their controllers because it was ''unneccesary'', only to eat their words because of fan backlash. They knew they were pissing on the heads of their constituency, and yet they went right ahead with it.I've got a 2000, it'll DL anything a Go will DL, and I canstill buy used games. Who in their right mind would switch if they already own a UMD PSP? I love new gadgets, but not at the level of cut-throat profiteering outlined currently.
Yeah, and if you've already got a PSP, imagine all the PSP games you could buy for $250 and will be missing out on due to the substantial first-time overhead cost of a new system. I couldn't justify it.
