do you recommend it? it got very positive reviews, but I'm not sure, by the gameplay videos of it it seemed pretty dull...but maybe thats just a wrong impression I have gotten. would like to hear opinions about it. also which version is the best? the PC, XBOX or PSP one? thanks. =)Anybody got Sid meier's Pirates! ?

Pirates! really hasn't changed much since it came out in the late 80's..... They've just tweaked it here and there, and the latest version has changed the sword fights a bit, and added a dancing mini game. Overall, it's a repetitive game. Anyway, it's 10 bucks over at Steam, for the PC version and sometimes it goes on sale for around 5-7 bucks over there.

I hated it at first, but then it became one of my favorites. If you're looking to play it on the go, the PSP version is a nice choice. But you might want the PC version for the mouse controls. Either way it will be cheap, so grab it!

Actually, it's a little hard to find. I'm still trying to find a used copy near me.
