I originally thought that the problem was a new battery but that doesn't really seem to be the case since I got a new one.Every time I turn on my PSP the green light is on yes but the screen is still all black and doesn't really turn on. Can somebody tell me what's wrong and what I have to fix? My PSP Doesn't Work, Can Someone Help Pl ...
The screen has maybe become unlodged from the circuit board......you may have to replace it.
I have broken my screen before and you can find replacements on the internt quitley cheaply if you look around. Also you don't have to send it away, you can do it yourself.

[/QUOTE] Another thing is that when it turns on I don't have any speakers and it's very hard (if not impossible) to turn the green-light off.
Where did you get it. To me, it sounds like a bricked PSP.

Can't I just contact SONY so they can fix it and/or send me a new one?Or is Nintendo the only company that does that and for free?
So I just have to buy this ''Pandora's battery?''
Can anyone answer please?
A google search prooves that, that battery is used for illegal thingsContact sony and ask them about it
this same thing happened to me.and i fixed it. this is going to sound stupid but i fixed it by not turning the psp on for a few days. Also take the battery out of the psp while you are psp is resting.
no modding should be discussed so... Here might happen to your psp. while you were updating your psp could of died and yeah thats what happen you are bricked and that means your psp won't boot up.If the light comes on for about 10 seconds and comes off then its bricked so to do the right thing just tell the story what happened and let sony fix it for you and they might give you the latest firmware.
my psp turns on fine but ewhen it gets to the start screen it only says the date type and amount of battery any help
