I think it's gonna be more around 7.IGN gave 6.8 to Gran Turismo, how about ...
Maybe a 7. What a downer. I figured it to be a 9er for sure.
A game review is just someones personal opinion.....and my personal opinion is that their opinion of GT is way off base. I will be buying it day one when I get my white PSP Go.
My guess is the review for GT PSP will be...... Late. Whatta Suprise.
I'm thinking GS might be a little more forgiving for this one. Maybe a 7.5 or 8? We'll have to wait and see I suppose.
I'm gonna say 6.5-7.

Personally as much as I never really cared for the Gran Tursimo series I would have to highly disagree with IGN. It is a revered racing series that deserves way more credit considering how much content is packed onto that UMD. On top of that reviewers need to stop comparing these games to consoles because the handheld hardware is not going to be able to keep up with a home console. Seriously this game is worth way more than a 6.8, and I don't even like the series and I'm saying this!!
I agree, the IGN review was very hardcore. He ONLY rated it that low because it had no simulation mode. If this was the first GT game ever made, you woudlnt compare it to previous ones because you never knew about such modes...now with this being a handheld game, its tough to get everything into it that you can on a console...thats how its always been. He should have reviewed the game based on the driving, the cars, the tracks etcc...I would say it probably deserves somewhere in the 8's. Hopefully other sites will not try to compare it to its brethren because this is an ENTIRE new game, not a port...and not a sequel.
7/10
I think between 6.5 - 8.0

I just glossed over the majority of it. Yeah I agree now with IGN's score. Having no Simulation mode is like having a PS2 with no memory card, its pointless.
7.5 I guess.
i think the only reason it got such a low score is because of the absence of career mode. I honestly don't understand why it doesn't have career mode doesn't make sense to me.
I hope it gets at least a 9.

No career mode + no car upgrading + on online play = not gonna happen.

Odds are against it, but you never know. Have faith! :)
Probabaly mad that it didn't have a career mode which I too think ruins the game!!! I didn;t want GT PROLOGUE for the psp... :-(
This is the same problem that SC had. We don't want games with modes that are missing. I'm not going to pay full price for a game that is missing features.
