Having issues with my ol 1001 PSP

I have been beginning to have issues with my 1001 model PSP. Games are taking a lot longer to be read by it when I insert the UMD in. Also my games, such as both Syphon Filter games, and Silent Hill Origins both have developed jerky gameplay, and skipping audio and FMVs. Do you think its time for me to get a new PSP or just stick it out with the one I got.Having issues with my ol 1001 PSP
You could send it off for repairs, would probably be cheaper than buying a new one. Mine started to do that and after a while it just stopped loading UMDs altogether.Having issues with my ol 1001 PSP
I am pretty certain that nowadays it is cheaper to buy a new PSP 2000 than sending the 1000 to repairs and even if it is cheaper to repair it why not buy a new 2000 for just a little more and enjoy a new one.

I say buy a new one either a 2000/3000 or a GO.

It has led a good life of playing over 200 games on it. I wanted to always buy another newer PSP anyway, and hang on to this 1001 model I have.
