I'm thinking about downloading FF:VII from the playstation store. The only thing stopping me is I am wondering how well it plays on the PSP, and how are the graphics, etc. I played Crisis Core and loved it and want to continue the story, however I just want to se what you think before I do the download. Thanks!FF:VII download from the PSN?
I'm playing it on my PSP. Go ahead and get it!I think the tiny screen of the psp helps the graphics. Probably if you play it on a big screen with the ps3, you will see it a lot more pixelated.the good thing is that if you can't continue playing for what ever reason but can't find a place to save just turn your psp off and you can resume from that exact point (just don't let your battery die)I got it for the psp. I have no plans on playing it on the ps3FF:VII download from the PSN?

It works great on the PSP. If you have a PS3, you can transfer your saved files back and forth. Make sure you have a memory stick with at least 1.3GB free to have room for FFVII. Good luck. :) Personally, it's my favorite game of all time.
I DLed it for PS3 a week ago and looks pretty pixelated on my 40'' Bravia...BUT thats what I figured...its a PS1 game!! I didnt play it yet, just played the opening train scene part...I'm waiting to get my PSP go so I can transfer it and play it on the smaller screen.
sounds good I'll get it then. Do you guys know of any other PSN downloads. I already got Patapon 2, but I'm thinking about getting at least one other one (besides FF:VII of course)

Well....I have Killzone Liberation and Patapon 2 on my PSP download-wise, and I'm currently waiting for Pixeljunk Monsters for PSP, which looks really nice. If your into that kinda thing, Holy Invasion of Privacy might be your cup of tea. MGS is another good PS1 game,
I'm a FFVII lover for life and I'm so glad they released it on PSP..it looks awesome. I just hope they go through with the PS3 remake as well.

What do you mean PS3 remake?!?!?! I don't have a PS3 but if they are going to redo the graphic to make it look better by today's standards, it may be worth buying a PS3 for haha
It plays great. Just make sure you have a large enough space on your memory and a fast connection. It's a big download.

Really, would rather them remake VII or finish XIII? Personally, if you want to do a console remake, do it for VIII(or at least release it on the freaking NA PSN store!) But, the PS3 is still highly worth it. Like the ads say, 'It only does Everything' ;)
FF VII looks great on the PSP. It's still a PS1 game but you can stretch the image to make it widescreen compatable and because the screen is so small along with higher resolution that standard TVs, PS1 games really look nice on the little screen. Also, don't worry about making the move to widescreen distorting everything because it really doesn't. In fact, I think the game looks better in widescreen than it does in standard 4:3 aspect on the PSP.As for other games, Metal Gear Solid looks and plays fantastic. So does Castlevania Symphony of the Night. Chances are, if you liked any PS1 titles on your TV, you'll like them just fine on the PSP as well. If this is your first chance to enjoy any of these classic games, then you owe it to yourself to start playing. There are alot of great games out there and there are even more on the way.Other notables are Wild Arms, Suikoden, Street Fighter Alpha 2, and Resident Evil Director's Cut.

Nah, I'd rather see a FFVII remake..I do not like the new style on the FF games the sort of live-action. They need to stick with the traditional turn-based RPG. And as for your advice on remaking FFVIII OVER FFVII...hahahahahahahhahahahahhahaha..they would only remake a game with the intentions of making a profit.
