Dropped Psp in water

I dropped my Psp in water and now the X,Circle,Triangle,Square Buttons dont work anyone know how to fix this?Dropped Psp in water
Here's my solution, Buy a new PSP, buy a protective cover, and be careful with it.How'd you drop it in water? were you playing on the john? :)Dropped Psp in water
my mom dumped my bros cell phone in some uncooked rice when it went through the washing machine. maybe itll work for psp
one time i dropped my GBA in the pot when i was taking a dump, it sucked cause i was just about to beat super mario advance 3
that sucks, either has to be repaired or buy a another one. just some advice though, if you drop any electronic in water and its not on, leave it off for a day or two until it drys and it should be fine. if you turn it on when its wet inside or if it was on when it went in, it probabley short circuited or something like that.

that would really suck to lose it down the crapper.. especially if you were already done with your business and you had to fish it out..

Buy a new PSP. Or you sent it into sony and they'll fix it for you for a price.

You could buy a new one and then put the broken one in and return it back and then they will exchange your broken one for a new oneso then you will have two new psp.

The serial number printed on the box has to match the serial number on the PSP. Sony wont allow stores to exchange PSPs without original box.
I have my box but my PSP is 2 years old so I don't think I can return it I heard it only has a 1 year warranty.
The bad news is you're down a PSP. The good news is you're up a paperweight.

hi bro,

i dropped my psp half way in to the swimming pool. i pulled it out the psp very quickly and the battery fell out to the bottom of the pool. yes, half of the psp was in water and the half was held by my long strap. i let psp dried for 1 day and put it back together. it still works. the X, 0, square, buttons don't work. but on the back remove the battery. use your thumb, rub against the Sony (C) all the way to the Serial No in a circular motion . that should allow all the X, O, square buttons to work again. it worked out for me. hope this can help you.
